I want to thank you for electing me to be your Assistant Manager. I will strive to do my best for you!
I will be representing the ITC SIG leadership team at the STC Summit in Atlanta and will be there Monday evening and during the day on Tuesday. I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you!
I want to call your attention to the following ITC SIG events:
1. Community Reception: ITC and Europe SIGs will be sharing a table at the reception; Monday, 4 MAY; 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.; Regency VII.
2. ITC SIG Meeting/Breakfast: Coffee, juice, bagels, and fruit; All ITC members are welcome! Tuesday, 5 MAY; 7:15 – 8:15 A.M.; Kennesaw Room in the Atlanta Conference Center (three floors below the lobby).
3. ITC SIG Networking Lunch; Tuesday, 5 MAY; 12:00 – 1:15 P.M.; TBD – Sign will direct you; also, in the Atlanta Conference Center (three floors below the lobby).
4. “Addressing Multi-cultural Audiences: Insurmountable Challenge or Golden Opportunity?” Panel discussion; Theodora Landgren – moderator; Wednesday, 6 MAY; 830am- 12:30 P.M.; Hanover G Room.

From the ITC SIG alone, we have 42 members attending the conference, coming in from at least eight different countries, ranging from Israel to Korea to Cananda!

Main events for ITC:
Community Reception: Monday nite, 7:30pm ET. Please stop by the table that we have set up to represent the ITC. Phil Gray, our Assistant Manager, will be representing ITC for this event. We will be sharing our table with the Euro SIG.
ITC Business Breakfast: Tuesday morning, 7:15am-8:15am (Kennesaw Room, Hilton). All ITC members are welcome to join us. We ordered bagels, fruit, and coffee. This meeting will be run by Phil Gray, our new ITC Assistant Manager.
ITC SIG Lunch: Tuesday, 12-1:15pmET. If you have not purchased a ticket, you can still do so, either online or on site.
ITC Progression: Wednesday, 8:30amET – 11:30amET (even 0251 and 0252 in the Program). Free and open to all.
STC Lunch: Wednesday, 12pmET. Open to all who registered for the conference. No ticket required—just your conference pass.

Hi all,
On behalf of the nominations committee, I welcome the new leadership team
of the International Technical Communication SIG of STC.
We had elections (elections ended COB April 14, 2009) for the position of
Treasurer. Carol Luttrell wins the elections with more than 56% of the
votes polled.
